本中心成立主要目標為促進國內輔助科技服務、臨床實務研究和科技發展，並整合國內外輔助科技資源。
The main goal of the center is to promote assistive technology services, clinical practice research and technological development in Taiwan, and to integrate with international assistive technology resources.
● 具體任務目標Our Purpose：
一、促進國內推動國際健康功能與身心障礙分類系統(ICF)與ISO9999國際輔具分類系統，發展與國際接軌的身心障礙暨輔具服務制度。
1.Promote Taiwan to promote the development of the International Classification System of Health Function and Disability (ICF) and the ISO 9999 international assistive device classification system, and develop a disability and assistive device service system that is in line with international standards.
二、提升國內身心障礙者需求評估與輔助科技服務品質。
2.Improve the quality of needs assessment and assistive technology services for people with disabilities in Taiwan.
三、進行身心障礙者需求評估與輔助科技實務研究與產品研發。
3.Conduct practical research on needs assessment and assistive technology for people with disabilities.
四、促進輔助科技產學合作。
