緣起與功能定位
國立陽明交通大學ICF暨輔助科技研究中心自2001年10月起，接受內政部委託辦理「內政部多功能輔具資源整合推廣中心」。2013年7月配合行政院組織改造，改隸衛生福利部社會及家庭署，更名為「衛生福利部社會及家庭署多功能輔具資源整合推廣中心」。
本中心為全國唯一由中央部會成立之「輔具資源整合推廣中心」，主要任務為整合國內外各種輔具服務資源和推廣輔具服務，包括建構輔具產品、輔具廠商、輔具人才、輔具中心等資料庫，以及彙整輔具相關之福利政策、學術成果、實務服務及產業發展等資訊；並以落實「衛生福利體系輔具資源整合與服務推廣」功能及扮演促進「各部會輔具資源合作」媒合為定位，以創造輔具使用需求者、輔具產業與政府三贏的新局勢。
In 2001, ROC Ministry of Interior entrusted the establishment & management of CATR@P to “Research Center on International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) and Assistive Technology (RICFAT)” of National Yang-Ming University. The center’s competent authority was changed to “Social and Family Affairs Administration, Ministry of Health & Welfare” due to reorganization of the Executive Yuan in July, 2013.
This center is the only “Assistive Device Resource Integration and Promotion Center” established by the central ministry in the country.
The main task is to integrate Taiwanese and international assistive device service resources and promote assistive device services, including constructing a database of assistive device products, assistive device manufacturers, assistive device talents, assistive device centers, etc., as well as compiling welfare policies and academic information related to assistive devices. Achievements, practical services, industry development and other information. Implement the function and role of “Integration of assistive device resources and service promotion in the health and welfare system” and promote the positioning of “cooperation of assistive device resources among ministries and agencies” to create a new win-win situation for users of assistive devices, the assistive device industry and the government.
